Are you Jewish? So far, I have met an unreasonable number of Catholics here. The predominant form of Christianity followed here is Protestantism of one kind or another, but I keep finding the few proud Catholics that are running amok in this fair city. I don’t know how many Jews are in South Korea, but it seems like it’s a small, fluctuating number. And they’re only in Seoul, and they aren’t converts, they’re foreigners. Or, at least, that’s what Wikipedia told me.
So I like to giggle over the fact that I keep thinking a teacher in my school is wearing a yarmulke. He is balding, I guess, but it’s the weirdest hair loss pattern I’ve ever seen. He has really thick, bushy, full hair all around this little skullcap-sized spot right on top of his head. There seems to be no hair thinning going on…just a bare patch. And the other hair sort of curls over it the way that curly hair would curl over a small cap.
